How To Get Money in Online Marketing

How to get money is a question that more and more people are asking as the economy continues to struggle, and the hassles of dealing with their jobs increase. Getting paid online is usually the first thing people think of when they think of avoiding monotonous commute of sitting in traffic for hours in order to get somewhere that should only take minutes.

Getting paid online offers the ordinary person the ability to grab share of a market, and compete for a share of whatever profits are generated. Think about it in terms of an off-line business. Let's have a look at that steps in comparison of starting an online business, as opposed to a traditional brick and mortar business.

If you were looking to open a neighborhood dry cleaning business, would you first check into whether the neighborhood could use another dry cleaner? Of course you would, so the first thing you would probably do is drive around the area and have a look around. If you found that the area was had plenty of dry cleaning businesses, then you could either find another area, chose to start another less competitive business in that same area, or decide that you can succeed in starting a dry cleaning business in this same competitive area.

That is called "Market Research", and the same principles would apply online. In fact once you know what you are looking for, it is a lot easier, faster, and better to do market research about online markets than offline markets. There are many free tools which can be used to perform market research. The most popular of which being Google AdWords. There is a keyword research tool that allows you to perform some pretty extensive market research free of charge. There are also some other paid programs out there that will give you much more detailed information. You can easily find them through Google, or whichever search engine you use. I would definitely start by using the free tools, and free training from someone who has used them.

Step 1: Market Research

In order to start accepting customers and cleaning their clothes, you would first have to have a building to house your dry cleaning business. So once you choose your area, you must then build your building, and name your cleaning business. In this case we'll call the business "ABC Cleaners". The name of your business should easily let people know what you are offering. You would not try to get too cute with the name of your dry cleaning business, so apply the same principles to your website.

(Think about it like this: McDonald's was McDonald's Hamburgers for years until they became so recognized, that it was no longer necessary to tell people what they cooked.)

Step 2: Choose a Domain name for your website.

Let's take a few moments to review some things about step 2. This seems like such an easy thing to do, but I have seen studies that have given hard numbers of as many as 56% people who purchase hosting, give up before ever deciding on a domain name! Best advice is to choose your domain name before purchasing your hosting. Which happens to be step 3. Once you have you business, now you have to pay your landlord.

Step 3: Find a Reliable Hosting Service

Once you have the doors to your dry cleaners open, you have to let the public know that you exist. So that brings us to step 4; advertising. This is where the differences between offline and online marketing start to become harder to duplicate.

If you had a dry cleaners, you could put up signs, lights, balloons, and anything else you would need to let the neighborhood know you were open for business. Most of the neighborhood would soon know about you, if only because they had to pass by your location to get in and out of the neighborhood.

Online businesses can't make you look at their storefronts. Instead they must advertise to bring in potential customers. Finding the right spots for your ads is the key. If you do not know how this is done, get with someone who will teach you for free. There are some great coaches out there, but you have to find a reliable one, who can be trusted to really show you how to make money online.

Step 4: Advertise.

Be more than just a laundry person. If you are not already, then you either want to become, or hire someone who is an expert in dry cleaning. It is a proven fact that being seen as an expert, or at least a consultative resource in a field, increase the likelihood of people doing business with you. A dry cleaner who can tell a customer how they can remove certain stains at home is more likely to build a loyal customer base than one who simply bleeds his customers for an extra buck or two over charging for stain removal. If you want to know how to get money online, that is how you build value.

How to get money online is by gaining credibility within your market the same way. Knowing something that they can use, or that may help them, and giving it to them for free. Online the most efficient way of keeping track of the people who take advantage of your free offer is to get their email address. That way you can send them more useful information. Most people however will not simply give you their emails. Humans are creatures of habit. Once someone has visited your website, if you have done a good job in creating it, they will more than likely visit again, and when they do, they will be looking for something that is new.

So the more content you add to your site the better, and offer all your viewers a free gift of some sorts, in order to join your mailing list, or subscribe to your newsletter. There are plenty of items available to you at no cost. Once again, you could either Google something like "free private label rights" to get some free giveaway items. You definitely want to get a list of as many people who are visiting your site as possible. Large subscriber lists can lead to large bank accounts.

One of the most effective, long-term strategies for building lists, and relationships is blogging. Even micro-blogging is popular as a marketing tool. Twitter is the ultimate example of micro-blogging. (You definitely want to build a list of email subscribers, as opposed to just having a bunch of Twitter followers or Facebook friends. These markets are more for branding, not making direct income).

Step 5: Build a List of Subscribers

Backtracking just a bit, step 5 is by far the trickiest part of the process. If there was a such thing as perfect "buyer lists", then the big corporations would own all of them already. Don't get me wrong, they do have lists, but the internet is still so new, it is still possible for individuals to compete for a share a just about any market. Get money by first giving value, and gaining trust. If you plan on succeeding in making money online, then this is the most important thing you could ever remember.

Step 6: Sell To Your List

Once you have delivered enough information to you visitors, and have gained their trust, you are in the perfect position to offer them your product or service. This should be in the form of a solution to whatever it was that first lead them to your website. In some cases you will be able to make instant sales. In others you will have to lead your prospects through a sales cycle. Automation is pretty much a requirement for customer follow-up, as your prospects flow through your sales funnel.

2 Ways To Get Traffic And Promotion For Your Information Product

I want to get into some traffic generation strategies that you can use to promote your information products. Traffic online is key - but not just any old kind of traffic. You need HIGH QUALITY traffic that will subscribe to your email newsletter, and visit your website sales page on a recurring basis. If you can build a list like this, you will see sales without a lot of work.

Here's the first traffic strategy I want to introduce you to:

1) YouTube and other video sites

YouTube is the number 3 ranked website on the internet in terms of website traffic. Everyday millions of people visit this site to watch their favorite videos, and to learn things and get educated on topics that they want to know more about. This is a great way to promote your products.

It's best if you can get a camcorder and record yourself talking. "Article videos" just won't do it - and these kind of videos aren't allowed due to YouTube's terms of service (TOS). To be traditional, and get traffic the old fashioned way, simply upload a video of yourself dishing out some tips, and strive to connect with your readers. Here's another way to get traffic:

2) Blog commenting

In almost every niche online, there exists a very popular blog. On such blogs, you will want to occasionally comment on the new blog posts that the blog owner creates. Typically a lot of people will comment on the blog posts also, but this is a great way to get traffic to your site - because other people on the blog will click on your username and visit your site. The more people the better - especially if your blog comment was really good.

Start at Google and search for relevant blogs in your niche. After you have gathered a list of blogs to participate on, go to the blog directories to find even more blogs in your niche. The more blogs the better - but you want to make sure that these blogs are active, and that they are posting at least 3 times a week.

Getting traffic to your information product sales page is essential to your success. The more traffic you can get, the higher your chances are at getting sales from your product. Be sure to use these tips today.

Good luck with having success with your information product.

YouTube SEO - This Is Exactly How You Make Your YouTube Video Rise to the Top!

YouTube receives 30,000 hours of video daily. That's right. DAILY. With that mind-boggling amount of video, it's become nearly impossible to gain traction and make your video popular. It now takes performing YouTube SEO tactics.

How to Make Money Online - Get Money - YouTube SEO

YouTube ranks YouTube videos based on popularity. Here's what they look at to determine a video's ranking in the search results.

Channel Views:The more channel views you have, the higher your YouTube channel will rank in its various niche.

Video Views:The more views you have the higher you'll rank on YouTube's search results for the key phrase you're targeting. But views aren't the only popularity measure.

Video Comments:The more comments you have, the higher you'll rank. I recommend setting up multiple accounts and commenting on your videos. Even try to entice some drama. The more controversy you can create over your video, the more comments you'll receive. People flock to conflict.

Video 'Like' Ratings:You want as many positive ratings as possible. Get your friends to give you positive ratings. Email your list of YouTube subscribers and ask them to give it a like rating. I've found ratings are just as important as video views. If you have 50,000 video views and two hundred negative ratings, your video will not rank in the top. If you have 50,000 video views and two hundred like ratings you're going to be sitting at the top of YouTube's search results.

Video Favorites:The more favorites your video receives, the higher you can rank. Plus, you'll show up on other YouTube favorites lists which brings in more traffic.

Channel Subscribers:The more subscribers, the higher your YouTube channel will rank.
Basically you want a balanced approach of all the above. Lots of YouTube video views, comments, likes, favorites, etc. If you have a good balance of those your video will rank higher on YouTube's search results and, also, this is a bonus, Google's.  If you can get a YouTube video to rank at the top of Google, it's major traffic. Major. And I've found the videos hold those positions for a long, long time. It's a consistent traffic source.

Back links:The more external back links pointing to your video, the higher it will rank. The easiest place to start obtaining back links is from social networks: Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Digg and all the rest. Also, try to list it on message boards/forums and submit your video to free link directories.  Also set up free blogs and embed and link to your video from those. Be greedy and relentless in obtaining back links.

Be active on YouTube: Comment on videos, subscribe to other channels, send friend requests. The more active you are, the more attention you'll attract to your own videos.

YouTube SEO Don'ts- Do you not use automated software bots to artificially increase YouTube views. YouTube has shut them down and your account will be banned. It's a violation of YouTube's Terms of Service and they have zero tolerance.  Now there are some YouTube friendly software tools you can use to automatically add friends, subscribe, comment, but be careful with which on you pick. In my signature file I'll link to only good one that doesn't violate YouTube's terms of service.

The other big don't is to mislabel your video to get more traffic. There are some high traffic key phrases out there, but if your video content doesn't match your title key phrase, YouTube will ban your video. Also tag your video appropriately. Don't put in a random high traffic phrase. YouTube will ban your video and the traffic from that phrase likely isn't targeted anyway, so it doesn't matter.

There you have it. I've been doing YouTube SEO for the last couple years and this is really all you need to do to make your video stand out from the crowd.
I use these two sources for every YouTube video I create.

First is TubeToolbox. This software automatically adds friends, subscribers and comments. They have time delays built in so you're never violating YouTube's TOS. Check it out: http://www.tubetoolbox.net

For the lazy marketer I recommend buying real 100% genuine traffic to your video. I've had amazing results with this system. A package is the best way to go. http://www.utubeplays.com

Affiliate Marketing - 5 Tips on Taking Your Affiliate Marketing to a Higher Level

It is true that participating in affiliate marketing is an easy way to start earning from home and start your online business. However, this business is not as easy, as it may sound. You do have to have a strategy for finding the target customers of the products in your program to generate the income for you. So, let's take a look at 5 tips on making the most out of your business.

1. Find good affiliate marketing programs

This is the "make it or break it" factor of your online business success. Even though you do not have to sell the products or deal with mailing orders and setting up presentations, you still need to pick the products that sell well.

And you need to be able to recommend those products to your friends or to your subscribers. So, the key is to know your product well and to like it.

2. Plan out your strategy

You cannot hope for people to come to you and ask to direct them to good products you sell. So, an online marketer has to come up with the strategy. This strategy has to help you to find and reach your target customers with your message. You may not have to advertise your products or set up their presentations. That is the part that has to be filled in by your affiliate company. Still you need to be able to reach your targets with the message.

3. Use social media.

It is done the best, when you use word of mouth type of advertising. You find people who would listen to you and then you direct them to certain products. Then it is up to them to make a decision to buy them or not. But most people feel inclined to believe their friends or those they see as experts and follow their advice. That is why affiliate marketing is such a successful business model.

Social media and such sites as Twitter or Facebook or even Pinterest are great for finding your targets and sharing your message with them. Plus these sites can help you to establish your expert reputation in some area related to your affiliate products. Then you can easily recommend them to your followers.

4. Start blogging

This is a big one. It is an excellent way to earn through affiliate marketing. Setting up a blog is not nearly as expensive as setting up a web site. Plus, many people enjoy reading blogs. Only you have to provide valuable content and solutions to them. It's an easy way to establish you as an expert. The perfect solution here would be to have a high authority viral blogging system already set up for you.

5. Drive traffic

This could be the hardest part of your affiliate marketing strategy. You need to figure out how to generate much targeted traffic for your blog or web site and how to benefit from the free Google search traffic. This means you need to learn to use keywords and master SEO to rank high for the chosen keywords.

Hopefully, these tips on affiliate marketing would help you to boost your online business and take it to the next level.

How to Create an Info Product in Under 48 Hours - Get Money with Ebooks

The title of this article may sound provocative or even unachievable but actually, if you put your mind to it, it's perfectly possible to create a top quality info product in under 48 hours.

How to work online an make money - Get Money with ebooks

The thing to remember is that, with info products, people are paying for information (the clue's in the name). They don't want fluff or padding. Life's too short for that.

Just think about the new diet book that you buy every January. The first half is near enough pure padding. You might skim it to tell yourself that this method has been tested and will actually work. But you almost certainly leave reading the first half of the book until "later" and turn to the chapter that tells you what you need to do to finally lose weight. Then you check out the recipes and choose the ones that sound tastiest.

What you'll be doing when you create your new info product in 48 hours or less is just giving people the main content.

Start by deciding on the topic you're going to cover.

How to work online an make money - Get Money with ebooks

That should be a single topic. So, going back to the weight loss example, it could be how to drop 20 pounds in 21 days. That kind of thing. Not a whole diet and fitness regime that will last you the rest of your life.

Then, once you've decided the topic, spend at most an hour deciding what to include. Some of the best places to research include the "look inside" feature in Amazon and the sales letters of competing products. These almost always have bullet points in them and once you've studied a few sales letters (with your wallet safely locked away in another room) then you'll know what to include.

After that, do some research. Places like Yahoo Answers and niche specific forums are good places to do this. Jot down what you're going to cover in your new info product.
Probably the best way to create a new info product is with screen capture software. You can get this free with programs like Cam Studio or cheap with systems like Screencast-o-matic. The software is easy to use and produces good quality results.

Depending on your topic, you could use a Powerpoint style presentation or demonstrate something on screen. There are almost no topics that can't be covered this way - you don't need to do full-on Hollywood style presentations.

Rendering the video into a format that will play on any device takes almost as long as recording it in the first place but you don't have to sit watching the progress bar whilst that happens! You can create your sales letter and upload it to your site. Then add a payment button and a download page.

That's it.

Don't procrastinate or over-analyse. Just do it!

How To Use Quality Link Building Techniques To Raise Your Search Engine Profile

There are very few things that can garner your website as much high-quality and targeted traffic as strong search engine ranking placement can.

There is little argument that in order to get ranked high in the search engines, you need to have links pointing back at your site. Ever since both the Panda and the Penguin algorithm updates, however, it has become more important than ever to focus on operating a high quality link building campaign.

Not only will low quality link building activities not help you, but in fact they can actually hurt you, quite severely.

Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind when linking back to your site so that you can accomplish your goals without getting on the search engine's bad side.

First, make sure to vary your anchor text. It used to be that you could merely distribute a high volume of spun content linking back to your page, and as long as the phrase that those pages used for anchor text in linking back to your site matched up with the content that the page was about and, of course, the phrase that you rip wish to rank for your campaign would be a success. Those were the good old days.

Nowadays, you need to have an organic mix of anchor text links and random phrase links, such as "click here" or the raw URL.

Second, do not fall into the trap of gathering easy-to-get but low-quality links. They are more likely to hurt you than to help you. The concept of that "a link is a link" could not be more wrongheaded. Rather, some links are from highly valued website which guard their editorially given links jealously. A link from an authority site like that is worth 10,000 times more than a simple profile link from a forum which has open registration. Keep that in mind and chase the high quality links rather than giving in to the easy temptation of low-quality mass links.

Third, try to pursue linking opportunities that are natural and involve activities you should be doing to build your business, anyway. During the normal course of promoting your business, wouldn't you put out a press release about an exciting event that you were sponsoring? Then you should do that for SEO purposes as well.

Even if the search engines were the farthest thing from your mind, wouldn't you create a strong social media presence and interact with your fans and clients there? Then it's a good bet that doing that will help you in the search engines, as well.

The old adage "create your website for visitors and search engines will naturally follow" has never been more true than it is in this current SEO climate.

Some people will argue that link building is now dead. Those people are absolutely wrong. What is dead is spammy, low quality link building. If you focus on maintaining high standards for your link building campaigns, you will find success in the search engines as surely as you ever did.

What is Video Marketing on YouTube Compared to Google?

What is video marketing on YouTube and how does it differ from video marketing on Google? You would think the answer would be the same since Google owns YouTube, but your methods of marketing videos on both platforms may have to change.
Make money online - how to make money with Youtube
Make money online - how to make money with google

The answer isn't always so clear-cut. People searching for answers to questions on YouTube expect to see a video. That's easy to understand because viewers are looking for a video response to their question.

Google, on the other hand, won't always follow the same script. Yes, if you have your meta-data (title, keywords and description) properly optimized there is a good chance your YouTube video will get ranked on the first page of Google as well.

Let's look at some factors that will help you get your video ranked on the first page of YouTube. Your meta-data is the absolute key to getting ranked on page one. If you don't provide great meta-data to YouTube, how are they going to figure it out and place your video in the right category?

Google tends to like informational keywords to rank videos. Informational keywords start with phrases like: "How to" or "What is" or "Why does". Why is this true? Informational keywords generally don't have paid per click advertising along the right vertical sidebar.
Google will tend to put videos on page one for informational keyword phrases because the videos are describing "how to" do something because viewers are looking for free answers to their problems.

Now if you look at commercial intent keywords, you will generally find a completely different scenario. It is much more difficult to get a YouTube video ranked on Google if Google knows it can charge advertisers to be on page one. Don't believe me; check it out for yourself.
Go to the Google Keyword Tool and type a keyword into the search bar. Take a look at the keywords that have high advertising costs (PPC). Type those words into the Google search bar and see how often videos show up on page one.

Google will rank your informational keyword videos on page one if you do provide them with outstanding meta-data or video SEO. This will happen far less frequently with commercial intent keywords.

In addition to the informational keyword phrases mentioned earlier, phrases that include words like demonstration, tutorial, review, video, walk-through and preview can serve you well on Google.

Video marketing on YouTube can be different compared to Google, but you have a real opportunity to get ranked on the first page of the two largest search engines in the world if you provide them with great meta-data and use informational keywords strategically.
